Day 1

Arrival in Cairo

At Cairo International Airport, our representative welcomes you and arranges your private transfer to the hotel. This begins Egitto Vacanza, an itinerary designed to combine the capital's great icons, sailing on the Nile, and a few days of pure relaxation on the Red Sea, all in a single trip.

Day 2

Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, and Egyptian Museum

After breakfast, your guide takes you to the Giza Plateau to admire the three great pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, and the majestic Sphinx. In the afternoon you continue to the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square, with its rich collection of statues and pharaonic relics. Return to your hotel in the evening.

Day 3

Flight to Luxor and embarkation; Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Luxor, where the cruise ship awaits for the coming nights. In the afternoon you visit Karnak Temple, the largest religious complex of antiquity, followed by Luxor Temple, beautifully lit as the sun goes down.

Day 4

Luxor West Bank — Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut, and Colossi of Memnon; sailing to Edfu

After breakfast on board, cross the Nile to the West Bank for the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, and the Colossi of Memnon. Back on the ship, sailing resumes toward Edfu, with lunch served on deck between temples.

Day 5

Temple of Horus in Edfu; sailing to Kom Ombo and Aswan

A horse-drawn carriage takes you to the Temple of Horus, one of Egypt's best-preserved ancient monuments thanks to the centuries it spent buried under sand. Back on board, sailing continues toward Kom Ombo and finally Aswan, with arrival expected in the evening.

Day 6

Aswan — High Dam and Philae Temple; disembarkation and transfer to Hurghada

Your last morning on board includes a visit to the Aswan High Dam, before a boat takes you to Agilkia Island to admire Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. After lunch you disembark for good and set off on the overland transfer to Hurghada, as the scenery of the Nile gradually gives way to that of the Red Sea.

Aswan
Aswan — where the Nile narrows and the pace slows.
Day 7

Free day in Hurghada

A full day at your disposal to enjoy the Red Sea: relax on the beach, swim in the clear water, or try optional snorkeling among the offshore coral. After the intense days among pyramids and temples, this is the stretch designed to recharge before heading home.

Day 8

Transfer to the airport and departure

A final breakfast and an organized transfer to the airport for your return flight. This brings to a close Egitto Vacanza, an itinerary that combined Cairo's pyramids, sailing the Nile between Luxor and Aswan, and days of pure relaxation on the beaches of Hurghada.
