This itinerary runs the trip in a slightly different order than most: Cairo first, then a flight straight to Aswan (with an optional early-morning add-on to Abu Simbel) before boarding the cruise and sailing north through Kom Ombo, Edfu, and Luxor. From Luxor's East Bank the group transfers overland to Hurghada for a three-night close on the Red Sea, with time for diving, a desert safari, or simply the beach, before the return flight to Cairo.
