After the roughly three-hour drive from Safaga, day one covers Karnak Temple, the largest religious complex ever built in Egypt, and Luxor Temple, raised during the reign of Amenhotep III over 3,000 years ago and home to some of the country's best-preserved reliefs. An optional evening Sound and Light Show at Karnak is available before an overnight stay at a 5-star Luxor hotel. Day two crosses to the West Bank for the Colossi of Memnon, three tombs in the Valley of the Kings, and Hatshepsut's Temple at Deir el-Bahari, before a final lunch and the drive back to your ship at Safaga.
