- Giftun Island Snorkeling Boat Trip in Hurghada
A day of turquoise water and coral reefs off Hurghada's coast
Your day begins at Hurghada's marina, where you'll board a boat for the short crossing to Giftun Island, part of a national park protecting some of the healthiest reef systems near the city. The boat typically anchors at two different reef spots over the course of the day, giving you time to snorkel over coral gardens teeming with reef fish, and often the chance to spot rays or sea turtles.
Between snorkel stops, there's usually free time to relax on the boat's sun deck or take a swim break in calm, clear water close to the island's beach. A buffet lunch is served on board, along with soft drinks and tea throughout the day.
This trip is well suited to beginners, with shallow, sheltered reef areas and crew on hand to help anyone who's new to snorkeling, while still offering enough to keep more experienced swimmers interested.
