The MS Salacia sails the Luxor–Aswan stretch of the Nile, stopping at Karnak Temple, the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Horus at Edfu, Kom Ombo, and Philae along the way.
Staterooms run about 21m², Royal Suites closer to 28m², both facing the river on either side of the boat. Meals are full-board, mixing international and Egyptian dishes, with a sun deck and pool for the hours between stops.
Departures follow a fixed weekly schedule — four days from Aswan on Wednesdays, five days from Luxor on Saturdays — so it's easy to plan flights around. A good fit for couples, families, or anyone who wants the temples without giving up hotel-level comfort.

Philae and the Unfinished Obelisk are usually the first stop after boarding — both can be seen in under two hours combined, so there's time to settle into your cabin before the ship gets moving. Save some energy for Karnak the next morning; its hypostyle hall alone is worth a slow half hour.
